Most platforms that DataBridge integrates with, like SuperOffice, have the option to show both the technical name of the fields and the user friendly name, which usually is the same as the name that is shown in screens and dialogs of the application that comes with the platform.
If the source is a platform and that platform supports showing the technical names, use the Show technical column names button to switch between the both.
An few examples of a technical name with a corresponding user friendly name from SuperOffice are listed below.
Technical name | User friendly name |
contactID | Company ID |
postAddress/city | City |
contint/Major Account | Contact Interest/Major Account |
contactAssociate/usergroup | Our Contact – Primary group |
Export the user friendly names
By default the technical names are exported, if the platform supports it. The Destination page shows options to change this in that case.

If the header is included in the exported file, the option Use display name as header will export the user friendly names instead of the technical field names.
