DataBridge is also available for SuperOffice CRM Onsite. There are some requirements the environment must meet and also there are additional configuration steps needed for the SuperOffice environment and DataBridge.
DataBridge will still be running in the cloud but will connect to your local SuperOffice CRM environment via the publicly exposed SuperOffice Web API in your SuperOffice setup.
Requirements
The following requirements are additional to the main requirements if DataBridge is used in combination with SuperOffice CRM Onsite.
- SuperOffice version 8.4 R08 or newer
- SuperOffice System User
- SuperOffice Web API needs to be accessible from the internet through HTTPS
DataBridge features might be unavailable depending on your SuperOffice CRM version and/or SuperOffice configuration.
Set up
1. Request a DataBridge account
SuperOffice Onsite does not support SuperID (the SuperOffice sign in service) and therefor the Log in with SuperOffice button will not connect you to your SuperOffice Onsite installation. The button Log in with email is the alternative here. It will not connect you automatically to your local SuperOffice installation, but it will provide access to the DataBridge platform. From there you can connect to your local SuperOffice installation. However, before you can use the button to log in to the DataBridge portal, you need an account. For security reasons such an account has to be requested via an email to support@infobridge.com. Send an email to request a DataBridge account for SuperOffice Onsite and mention:
- Your name
- Your email address (the email address that will be used to create the account)
- Your company name
- The SuperOffice serial number this DataBridge account will be used for
If you are an Administrator in more than one SuperOffice Onsite tenant, then you’ll need a unique email address for every DataBridge account. Consider to use Plus Addressing (also known as subaddressing or email tagging) to create email addresses like yourname+tag@yourdomain.com and use the tag to distinguish the SuperOffice installation linked to the DataBridge account.
2. Prepare SuperOffice APIs
DataBridge connects to your locally hosted SuperOffice installation. To do so, your SuperOffice installation needs to expose its Web API. This needs to be done in a secure way.
In the current SuperOffice installations, the Web API is switched on by default and may not need to be configured.
Security based on filtering IP addresses is possible; the IP addresses are here.
If all is set up correctly you should be able to ‘contact’ the Web API by visiting this URL, where you replace the obvious part with your (sub)domain.
- https://<your_SuperOffice_url>/api
Details about configuring the Web API can be found here: https://docs.superoffice.com/en/onsite/install/netserver/setup-rest.html
It might be a bit technical. If you are not able to perform the configuration and testing yourself, please contact your SuperOffice consultant.
3. Configure DataBridge
You are now ready to configure DataBridge using the following steps:
- Sign in to your DataBridge account (see step 1) here: my-databridge.infobridgeuniverse.com
A license warning will be shown since the SuperOffice installation is not yet connected and the serial number is not validated yet. - Create a new integration and choose SuperOffice CRM Onsite as either the source or the destination
- Fill in the details
- SuperOffice web API endpoint (https://<your_SuperOffice_url>/api)
- Username of a SuperOffice System User;
- Password of the System User;
- Click Next to verify and save the connection details.
4. Subscription
Once you have connected the first integration to your SuperOffice Onsite tenant, DataBridge will fetch the SuperOffice serial number and check if there is a subscription available. Please allow for two hours to perform the checks and activate the subscription, if any. In the mean time you can start configuring your DataBridge integrations.
If no subscription is available, then your DataBridge will remain on the Free Plan.
